Adult dose

Usually, adults should take 1 packet (3.6g) three times a day before meals or between meals.

This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, which converts to phenylalanine in the body. Therefore, it should not be taken by patients with the genetic disorder phenylketonuria. Moreover, newborns, pregnant or nursing women, and individuals with genetic issues that hinder lactose digestion should not take this medication. Patients with high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, or edema must consult a professional before using this medication. Special caution is also recommended for the elderly or those who have experienced allergic reactions to medications. If you experience symptoms such as facial or limb swelling, or elevated blood pressure while taking this medication, you should stop usage immediately and consult a professional. Likewise, if symptoms such as muscle weakness, skin rash, abnormal liver function, or difficulty breathing occur, discontinue use and seek professional medical attention. Long-term usage is not recommended, and if continued use is necessary, it is crucial to discuss this with a professional. Adhere strictly to the prescribed usage and dosage, and children should take this under the supervision of a guardian. Also, caution is necessary when taking this medication along with potassium-containing medications or those that include licorice, as side effects may occur. Serious side effects

General malaise due to liver dysfunction, jaundice of the skin or eyes, symptoms of interstitial pneumonia including fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing.

Mild side effects

Swelling of the hands and feet due to aldosterone syndrome, elevated blood pressure, headaches, myopathy, weakness, limb cramps, paralysis, skin rash/redness, itching, hives, etc.
