This medication should not be used by individuals with fever due to inflammation, pregnant women, as well as those who are physically weak or have strong constitutions. This medication contains lactose; individuals with a genetic inability to break down lactose should not take it. Children with malnutrition or those suffering from phlegm-heat syndrome should use this medication cautiously. Prolonged use may cause low potassium levels in the blood due to the licorice component, leading to increased blood pressure or symptoms such as swelling and weight gain, so caution is needed. When taking, it is recommended to dissolve this medication in warm water and consume only the clear liquid on top. Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; transferring to another container helps maintain quality. Those with high blood pressure, elderly individuals, or those with heart or kidney issues, or experiencing body swelling, and those receiving other treatments should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking. If during use, urinary output decreases, or there is swelling in the face, hands, or feet, heavy eyelids, stiff hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches, discontinue immediately and consult a professional. For long-term use of this medication, regular checks on blood potassium levels are advisable, and if abnormalities occur, discontinue use. Symptoms of muscle weakness or paralysis may appear; if such symptoms arise, stop taking and consult a professional. Using this medication in conjunction with other potassium supplements, medications containing licorice, and certain diuretics increases the risk of side effects, so caution is required. The rhubarb component included in this medication should not be taken by pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and it is advisable for breastfeeding women to avoid it as well. Individuals experiencing diarrhea or gastrointestinal disorders, or who are extremely weak should consult a professional before taking, and if gastrointestinal symptoms, abdominal pain, or diarrhea occur during use, discontinue immediately. The constipation relief effect of the rhubarb component can vary by individual, so the prescribed dosage should be adhered to, and stimulating laxatives should not be used for more than one week. Additionally, when taking multiple traditional herbal preparations, care should be taken not to overlap herbal ingredients.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent air or moisture exposure, ideally at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. This will help maintain the effectiveness of the medication.
