This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic inability to digest lactose should not take it. Caution is advised for pregnant women or those who might become pregnant, individuals receiving medical treatment, those with diarrhea or abdominal pain, individuals with weak stomachs, and those with very low vitality. When taking this medication, symptoms of serious pulmonary diseases such as interstitial pneumonia may occur, so if fever or difficulty in breathing develops, the medication should be discontinued immediately and a hospital should be visited. Liver function issues may arise, and if liver enzyme levels increase or jaundice symptoms appear, then discontinue taking this medication and seek appropriate treatment. This medication can affect the digestive system, leading to decreased appetite, abdominal pain, or diarrhea, so symptoms should be monitored closely. When using this medication, individual constitution and symptoms should be carefully considered, and if symptoms do not improve, do not continue taking it and consult a specialist. When using with other traditional medications, caution should be taken to avoid overlapping ingredients, especially when using medications containing Daehwang. Because the degree of diarrhea caused by Daehwang may vary from person to person, it is essential to adhere strictly to the prescribed usage and dosage. Pregnant women are advised not to take this medication due to the Daehwang ingredient, which may cause uterine contractions or risk of miscarriage. Moreover, the Daehwang ingredient can pass into breast milk and cause diarrhea in infants, so breastfeeding women should use this medication with caution. The safety of this medication in children has not been sufficiently established, so its use is not recommended for them. Elderly individuals may have diminished physical functions, so caution is necessary by potentially reducing the dosage when taking this medication.

Serious side effects

• Interstitial Pneumonia: Symptoms include fever, cough, difficulty in breathing, and abnormal lung sounds (wheezing) indicating respiratory problems.
• Liver dysfunction, jaundice: Liver dysfunction with elevated AST, ALT, ALP, γ-GTP may occur, indicating liver issues (jaundice).

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent air or moisture from entering and should be kept at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will maintain the drug's effectiveness.
