Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with inflammatory heat. Additionally, since it contains lactose, individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid taking it. Children with nutritional disorders or those with damp-heat should use this medication with caution. This medication contains glycyrrhizic acid, and taking more than 40 milligrams per day over a long period can lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, edema, and weight gain; hence caution is needed. Symptoms such as dry mouth or a twisted tongue may occur during use. It is advisable not to use this medication alongside the ingredients Banha and Odu. When storing, keep it in a sealed container away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place, and do not transfer it to another container to maintain quality. Individuals with high blood pressure or elderly individuals, those with heart or kidney issues, swelling, and those receiving medical treatment should consult with a professional before taking it. If symptoms such as decreased urine output, swelling of the face or extremities, heaviness of the eyelids, stiffness in hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches occur after taking it, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Long-term use may develop muscle diseases related to hypokalemia; if symptoms such as weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis appear, stop taking it and consult medical staff. Caution should be used when taking this medication along with potassium-containing preparations, licorice-containing preparations, or certain diuretics as there is a risk of aldosteronism or hypokalemia.
