Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers (antacid effect), improvement of symptoms of gastritis
This medication is effective for gastrointestinal disorders such as gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, and excessive gastric acid. It also helps to relieve symptoms such as heartburn, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and belching. By neutralizing gastric acid through its antacid effect, it protects the gastric mucosa and improves symptoms. Therefore, it is used to maintain gastrointestinal health and reduce discomfort.
Take Almagate 1 g orally three times a day after meals, 30 minutes to 1 hour after eating. An additional dose may be taken before bedtime if needed.
For children aged 12 years and older, take Almagate 1 g orally three times a day after meals, 30 minutes to 1 hour after eating. An additional dose may be taken before bedtime if needed.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with allergies to specific ingredients. Patients with Alzheimer's disease or hemorrhoids should also avoid this medication. Persons with body swelling or pre-eclampsia, those with severe diarrhea, and those suspected of gastrointestinal bleeding should avoid this medication. Additionally, it is unsuitable for patients with a genetic condition causing lactose intolerance. It is advisable not to take this medication together with tetracycline antibiotics, as this medication can interfere with the absorption of the antibiotic. If you are taking other medications, you must consult your doctor or pharmacist, as this medication may affect the absorption or excretion of other drugs. Particularly, it is important to space out the timing of use with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer medications, heart medications, antibiotics, and iron supplements. Patients with impaired kidney function should be cautious due to the risk of accumulation of the components in the body. Those who are weak, have bone health issues, elderly individuals, and pregnant or nursing women should consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as constipation or diarrhea occur during usage, discontinue immediately and consult healthcare personnel. If symptoms do not improve after two weeks of use, a professional examination is necessary. It is crucial to adhere to the prescribed dosage, and when administering to children, it should be supervised by a guardian. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in its original container, protected from direct sunlight and moisture, in a cool place.

Do not take this medication together with tetracycline antibiotics. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer treatment medications, digitalis preparations, chlorpromazine, lansoprazole, prednisolone, penicillin, quinolones, iron preparations, or salicylates.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent air exposure and is best kept at room temperature. This will help maintain the effectiveness of the medication for an extended period.
