Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Take 0.84 to 2.51 grams three times daily before meals or between meals. Adjust the dosage according to age and symptoms. If used in preparation, reduce the amount accordingly.

Precautions

This medicine contains lactose, so it should not be used by individuals with genetic conditions that prevent proper breakdown of lactose. For instance, patients with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption may experience adverse health effects from taking this medicine.
