Caution is required for these patients due to the risk of decreased white blood cell or platelet counts. Additionally, patients taking certain medications such as steroids, antibiotics, anticancer drugs, and azole antifungals should be cautious as this drug may reduce blood cell counts. Patients with a history of blood abnormalities such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenia should consult their doctor before using this medication. This medication should not be administered to patients with an allergy or hypersensitivity to histamine H2-receptor antagonists. Children, especially those under 15 years old, and elderly individuals over 80 years old should avoid this medication or use it very cautiously as its safety has not been sufficiently confirmed. In elderly patients, renal function may be impaired, leading to accumulation of the medication and excessive effect. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as those who are breastfeeding, are advised not to take this medication. This medication may pass into breast milk, possibly requiring cessation of breastfeeding. Patients undergoing dialysis should consult their doctor before using this medication. If experiencing symptoms of infection such as sore throat, cough, high fever, unexplained weight loss, or persistent abdominal pain, it is essential to consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If side effects such as allergic reactions, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, muscle pain, sore throat, fatigue, whitening of the face and inner eyelids, or easy bleeding (such as bleeding gums or nosebleeds) occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Symptoms such as chest tightness, pale complexion, cold hands and feet, sweating, and shortness of breath should be reported to medical personnel immediately. In case of severe symptoms such as high fever accompanied by rashes, blisters, sore throat, tendency to bleed, or jaundice, immediate emergency treatment is required. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for more than three days, it may indicate another illness, and one should stop taking it and consult a professional. Do not take this medication for more than two weeks, and avoid consuming alcoholic beverages simultaneously as it may increase blood alcohol concentration. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage, and this medication should not be used for other symptoms. Patients with kidney disease must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. The antacid components in this medication may interfere with the absorption of some antibiotics and antimicrobial agents, so simultaneous use is not recommended.
