Relief of inflammation and pain in rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.
This medication is used for rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), and pericapsulitis around the scapula and humerus. It also helps relieve pain due to dental pain, post-traumatic inflammation, low back pain, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism. It effectively improves inflammation and pain in various joints and muscles.
As aceclofenac, take 100 mg twice a day, every 12 hours. This medication should be taken whole, not chewed or crushed. Adjust dosage accordingly based on symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
This medication may cause serious side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily; therefore, consultation with a physician or pharmacist is essential. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, so individuals with risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, and smoking should use it with caution, and it should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest period necessary. It can cause serious gastrointestinal problems such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations; therefore, individuals with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, older adults, and those taking the medication for an extended period should be particularly cautious. Patients with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, those allergic to this medication or similar drugs, individuals with severe heart failure or significant liver and kidney impairment, pregnant women in late pregnancy, and nursing mothers should not take this medication. Caution is needed for those with weakened kidney or liver function, a history of hypertension or asthma, elderly individuals, and patients recovering from surgery; they should use this medication carefully under a physician's guidance. This medication may cause various side effects like dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances, abnormal liver enzyme levels, skin rashes, etc., so if any adverse symptoms appear, immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is necessary. During treatment, regular monitoring of blood pressure, liver function, and kidney function is required, and potential interactions with other medications should be reported to a doctor if the patient is taking other drugs. It should not be used during the last three months of pregnancy as it may harm the fetus, and nursing mothers should either discontinue breastfeeding or consult a doctor when taking this medication. Safety for children and adolescents has not been established; therefore, this medication is not recommended for pediatric use.
