Treatment of peripheral artery circulation disorder (intermittent claudication) and cerebrovascular dysfunction (tinnitus, dizziness)
This medication is used to treat the symptoms of intermittent claudication caused by peripheral artery circulation disorders. It also helps improve dizziness and vascular and degenerative tinnitus (ringing in the ears). It is effective in treating organic brain dysfunction accompanied by dementia symptoms such as tinnitus, headaches, memory decline, concentration disorders, depressive mood, and dizziness. Overall, this drug is used to improve blood circulation and brain function to make daily life more comfortable for patients.
1) Peripheral artery circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus: Administer 40mg of Ginkgo Leaf Extract orally 3 times a day or 80mg 2 times a day. 2) Organic brain dysfunction: Administer 40mg-80mg of Ginkgo Leaf Extract orally 3 times a day or 120mg orally 2 times a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be used by certain individuals. First, anyone who has had an allergic reaction to this medication should not take it. Second, it is safe not to use this medicine for children under 12 years of age due to insufficient experience with its use. Third, pregnant women should avoid it as there is not enough experience for its use during pregnancy, even though animal experiments did not show teratogenic effects. Fourth, those with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it because it contains lactose. Before taking this drug, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. People with bleeding disorders or those taking medications that increase bleeding risk should consult a specialist before using this drug. Additionally, breastfeeding women should also consult with a specialist because it is not known if this drug passes into breast milk. If any of the following situations occur during use, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a specialist: If surgery is planned, if symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking it for more than 3 months, or if adverse reactions occur. Adverse reactions can include mild gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, allergic skin reactions, dizziness, and itching, and rare cases of severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis have been reported. This drug is not a treatment for hypertension, so it is not given to patients with high blood pressure or those requiring special treatment. When stored, keep it in a safe place out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store it in a cool, dry place.
