Legalon Capsule 70 (Milk Thistle Dried Extract)

Adult dose

Adults: Take an initial dose of 140 mg of silymarin (or 60 mg of silybin) per dose, 3 times daily, and a maintenance dose of 70 mg of silymarin (or 30 mg of silybin) per dose, 3 times daily [or 140 mg (or 60 mg of silybin) per dose, twice daily].

This medication should not be taken by patients with severe biliary obstruction, those with hypersensitivity to this medication, and children under 12 years of age. Pregnant or breastfeeding women must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as stomach pain or diarrhea occur, or if an allergic reaction is suspected, treatment should be stopped immediately and a healthcare professional should be consulted. This medication must be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosages and methods, and if jaundice symptoms appear, a physician or pharmacist should be consulted. Additionally, it is important to consult a healthcare professional if symptoms do not improve after about one month of use or if taking it for an extended period. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store the medication in a different container; keep it in its original container tightly closed.
