Vitamin E helps alleviate peripheral blood circulation disorders and menopausal symptoms in the elderly. It is particularly effective in improving stiffness of the shoulders and neck, and symptoms of cold hands and feet known as peripheral coldness and numbness. Additionally, it is used for muscle cramps caused by magnesium deficiency. Due to these effects, vitamin E is useful for improving blood circulation and muscle health.

How to take

Adult dose

1 capsule per adult, taken twice a day

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by persons who have allergic reactions to this medication or any of its components. Children under 12 months old or patients with severe renal failure should also avoid it. Individuals allergic to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should not take this medication. During the use of this medication, specific drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, and antacids should not be taken concurrently. Women who are undergoing medical treatment, pregnant, possibly pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants, and infants should always consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Patients with heart or circulatory issues, renal impairments, hypoproteinemia, hyperlipidemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, pancreatitis, or other disruptions in fat metabolism should exercise caution. If symptoms such as stomach discomfort, diarrhea, constipation, skin rash or redness, irregular heartbeat, or central nervous system function decrease occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult with a healthcare professional. If the menstrual cycle accelerates or bleeding persists, discontinue use and consult a professional. Women taking oral contraceptives that contain estrogen or those at risk of thrombosis should be aware that the risk of thrombosis may increase with vitamin E use. In case of overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, heart failure, and edema may occur, so caution is necessary. Combining this medication with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene poses a risk of hyperkalemia, so be careful. If symptoms do not improve after about a month of taking it, consult with a professional. Ensure to adhere to prescribed dosages, and it is advisable to avoid consuming tannin-containing beverages such as green tea or black tea before and after taking this medication. Patients at risk of fat overload should monitor plasma lipid levels to adjust the dosage of this medication, and in cases where other lipid agents are used simultaneously, consider the total lipid amount. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, it should not be transferred to another container.
