Nursing mothers should avoid this medication as its components can pass into breast milk and cause diarrhea in infants. Individuals who are genetically unable to digest lactose may experience side effects from the lactose in this medication and should not take it. It is advisable not to take this medication along with other antidiarrheal medications. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney disease, edema, elderly patients, and those taking other medications should consult an expert before using this product. If symptoms do not improve within one month, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Caution is needed when taking this medication with potassium-containing products or certain diuretics as they may cause muscle problems; strict adherence to the prescribed dosage and administration is necessary. Additionally, stimulant laxatives may lose effectiveness and worsen constipation if used for extended periods, so it is advisable not to take them for more than one week. When taking this medication with other herbal remedies, care should be taken to avoid ingredient overlap, and consultation with an expert is recommended if longer-term use is required.
