This medication is used to treat skin fungal infections such as tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea corporis caused by dermatophytes like Trichophyton, Microsporum canis, Epidermophyton floccosum. It is also effective in treating tinea versicolor caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare (also known as Malassezia furfur). Thus, this medication helps improve various skin fungal infections.
