This medication is used to treat skin fungal infections such as tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis, caused by various dermatophytes including Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton. It is also effective in the treatment of tinea versicolor caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare, and helps to alleviate skin candidiasis. This drug effectively treats skin diseases caused by various fungal infections, contributing to the patient's skin health.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply to the affected area 1 to 2 times a day. For tinea pedis, for interdigital type, apply once daily for 1 week; for interdigital type (between toes), apply twice a day for 1 week; for plantar type (on the soles), apply twice a day for 2 weeks. For tinea corporis and tinea cruris, apply 1 to 2 times a day for 1 to 2 weeks. For skin candidiasis, apply 1 to 2 times a day for 1 to 2 weeks. For tinea versicolor, apply 1 to 2 times a day for 2 weeks.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by anyone who has had an allergic reaction or sensitivity to this drug or its components. Additionally, it should not be used by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, or by nursing mothers. It is also not safe to use this medicine on children. If any abnormal symptoms such as rash, severe irritation, itching, redness, swelling, skin peeling, scab formation, discoloration, stinging pain, or a hot sensation occur while using this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. Bringing this drug's leaflet can be helpful during consultation. Do not apply this medicine using sealed dressings or wrapping methods without a doctor's instructions. If symptoms do not improve with this medicine, it is advised to undergo examinations to confirm fungal infection and receive alternative treatments if necessary. It is advisable to avoid using acidic soaps if a candidiasis infection is suspected. This medicine has low absorption on intact skin, hence the risk of systemic side effects is minimal; however, caution should be taken if applying on broken skin, large areas, or on infants as systemic effects may occur. If this drug is accidentally ingested, activated charcoal may be used to remove the active ingredient, and symptomatic treatment should be sought if necessary. This medicine is for external use only on the skin and should not be used on the eyes or mucous membranes. If it gets into the eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water to prevent eye irritation or infection worsening. It is also safe to avoid using it around the nails, scalp, mouth area, and genital area. There have been reports of slight phototoxicity of this medicine in animal studies, so it is advisable to avoid direct sunlight. When storing, keep out of reach of children and store in the original container tightly closed. Transferring to another container may result in misuse or quality deterioration, so caution should be exercised.
