This medication is used for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in men and women. In particular, products in concentrations of 2%, 3%, and 5% are effective for the treatment of each type of alopecia, helping improve hair loss and promote hair health. Consistent use of this medication may slow the progression of hair loss and assist in the healthier growth of hair. Therefore, this medication is used for the purpose of treating hair loss.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

After completely drying hair and scalp, apply 0.5 to 1 g or 0.5 to 1 mL of this medication to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening) for at least 4 months. Excessive absorption of this medication may affect the heart, so it is crucial to adhere to the recommended dosage and check the condition of the scalp prior to use. If a dose is missed, do not make up for it and continue with the next dose at the regular time. This medication is ineffective for genetic hair loss or hair loss due to specific causes, and caution is required as excessive use may lead to heart-related side effects.
