This medication is used to treat tinea infections of the feet, groin, and body caused by dermatophytes. It can also improve infections caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare, which is responsible for tinea versicolor. It is effective in treating cutaneous candidiasis. Therefore, it is widely used for dermatophyte infections and aids in restoring skin health.

How to use

Adult use

Apply to the affected area (site of the disease) 1 to 2 times daily. The treatment periods according to the condition are as follows: 1. Athlete's foot: Once daily for 1 week. Interdigital athlete's foot: Twice daily for 1 week. Plantar athlete's foot: Twice daily for 2 weeks. 2. Body tinea, groin tinea: 1 to 2 weeks. 3. Cutaneous candidiasis: 1 to 2 weeks. 4. Tinea versicolor: 2 weeks. Clinical symptoms should improve after the treatment period.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by anyone who is allergic to this medication or any of its components or has previously experienced hypersensitivity. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as those who are breastfeeding, should not use this medication. Additionally, it is preferable for children not to use this medication. If a rash or symptoms of hypersensitivity occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Also, if excessive irritation or worsening of symptoms on the skin occurs, you should also consult a professional immediately. If symptoms such as hives, redness, itching, contact dermatitis, skin peeling, scab formation, unusual pigmentation, tingling pain or burning sensation occur, you must stop using it and seek medical attention. When using this medication, it is recommended not to use sealed bandages or wrapping methods without a doctor's instruction. If this medication is ineffective, tests should be conducted to accurately confirm the presence of a fungal infection, and other treatment options should be considered. In the case of a Candida infection, avoid using acidic soaps. The absorption of this medication is low on undamaged skin, thus the risk of systemic side effects is low; however, be cautious on wound sites, large areas, and in infants where systemic effects may occur. If this medication is accidentally ingested, activated charcoal should be used to eliminate the active ingredient, and symptom-specific treatment should be received if necessary. This medication is for topical use only and should not be applied to the eyes or mucous membranes, nails, scalp, around the mouth, or vaginal areas. Special care should be taken if it enters the eyes, as it may cause significant irritation; rinse immediately with plenty of water. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in the original container to maintain quality and prevent misuse.
