Legalon Capsule 140 (Milk Thistle Dried Extract)

Adult dose

Adults: The initial dose is 140mg per dose as silymarin (or 60mg per dose as silybin), 3 times daily, and the maintenance dose is 70mg per dose as silymarin (or 30mg per dose as silybin), 3 times daily (or 140mg per dose (or 60mg as silybin), 2 times daily).

This medication should not be taken by patients with severe biliary obstruction, those who are hypersensitive to this medication, or children under 12 years of age. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals must consult a physician, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as stomach pain or diarrhea occur, or if an allergic reaction arises, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. It is important to strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration when taking this medication, and consult a physician or pharmacist if jaundice symptoms are present. Consult a specialist if symptoms do not improve after about a month of use or if used for an extended period. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, medications should not be stored in a different container than the original to prevent misuse or degradation in quality, so it should be kept in the original container and tightly closed.
