This medication is used to treat tinea pedis, tinea corporis, and tinea cruris caused by fungi such as Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton. It is also effective against tinea versicolor caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare and skin candidiasis. It aids in improving these fungal infections to restore skin health.

How to use

Adult use

Apply to the affected area (disease site) once or twice daily. For tinea pedis, if it is the interdigital type (between the toes), apply twice daily for 1 week. For plantar type (on the soles of the feet), apply twice daily for 2 weeks. For tinea corporis and tinea cruris, apply once daily for 1 to 2 weeks. For skin candidiasis, also apply once daily for 1 to 2 weeks. For tinea versicolor, apply for 2 weeks. If symptoms do not improve after the treatment period, reevaluation is necessary.

Precautions

This medication is an external agent used for the treatment of skin fungal infections. Do not use if there is an allergic reaction or history of hypersensitivity to this medication or its ingredients. It is advised to avoid this medication for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women. It is safe not to use this medication in children. Since it contains propylene glycol, individuals allergic or sensitive to this substance should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If skin rash, hives, red spots, itching, irritation, skin peeling, scab formation, pigmentation changes, prickling pain, or burning sensation occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. When using this medication, do not use occlusive dressings or wrap methods unless directed by a physician. If symptoms do not improve with use of this medication, reevaluate for fungal infection and consider alternative treatments. In case of Candida infection, it is advisable to avoid acidic soaps. Be cautious when using on wounds, large areas, or in infants as this medication may be absorbed into the body and could have systemic effects. In case of accidental ingestion of this medication, activated charcoal should be used to remove the active ingredient and treat based on symptoms if necessary. This medication is for external use only and should not be applied to the eyes or mucous membranes. If it comes into contact with the eyes, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and seek caution due to the possibility of eye irritation or worsening infection. It is safe to avoid using on nails, scalp, around the mouth, or vaginal area. Weak phototoxicity has been reported in animal studies, so take care during sun exposure. Store out of reach of children in a secure place, and keep it tightly closed in its original container. Transferring to another container may lead to misuse or degradation of quality, so take care.
