Treatment of dermatomycosis (tinea pedis, tinea corporis, etc.) and seborrheic dermatitis
This medicine is used to treat skin fungal infections such as tinea pedis, tinea corporis, and tinea capitis caused by various dermatophytes including Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton. It is also effective in treating seborrheic dermatitis and candidiasis caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare. This medication helps improve various fungal infections and restores skin health.
Apply to the affected area (site of disease) once or twice daily. The duration of treatment according to the condition is as follows: 1. Tinea Pedis: Once daily for 1 week, for interdigital tinea pedis: Twice daily for 1 week, for plantar tinea pedis: Twice daily for 2 weeks. 2. Tinea Corporis, Tinea Cruris: 1 to 2 weeks. 3. Candidiasis: 1 to 2 weeks. 4. Seborrheic Dermatitis: 2 weeks. Even after the treatment period, if clinical symptoms do not improve.
This medicine should not be used by individuals who are allergic to this medicine or any ingredients contained within it, or who have experienced allergic reactions. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should also not use this medicine. It is safest to avoid this medicine in children. If a rash or allergic reaction occurs while using this medicine, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, if the skin becomes overly irritated or if symptoms worsen, stop use immediately and consult a professional. If there are hives, red spots, itching, irritation, skin inflammation, skin peeling, scabbing of wounds, color changes, stinging pain, or burning sensations, discontinue use and seek medical attention. This medication should not be used with sealed dressings or packing methods unless directed by a doctor. If there are no effects from using this medicine, re-evaluation of the fungal infection may be necessary to pursue treatment for other causes. In the case of suspected Candida infections, it is advisable to avoid using acidic soaps. When applied to intact skin, this medicine is minimally absorbed into the body, resulting in very few systemic side effects; however, precautions are necessary when applying to wound sites, large areas, or infants as systemic effects may occur. If this medicine is accidentally ingested, activated charcoal should be used first to eliminate the main ingredient, and symptomatic treatment should be pursued if necessary. This product is to be used only as a topical application and should not come into contact with the eyes or ocular area. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and be cautious of the risk of eye irritation or worsening infections. It is also advisable not to use this medicine on nails, scalp, around the mouth, or in the vaginal area. Animal studies suggest that this medicine may have mild phototoxicity, so it is best to avoid direct sunlight. This medicine should be stored in a secure place out of the reach of children, and kept tightly closed in its original container. Transferring to another container may pose a risk of misuse and decrease the product’s quality.
