Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injuries, non-articular rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: Take 200 to 600 mg orally 3 to 4 times a day. The maximum daily dose can be up to 3200 mg. For mild to moderate pain and colds: Take 200 to 400 mg orally 3 to 4 times a day. Adjust dosage appropriately according to age and symptoms.
Child dose
Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis: Administer 30 to 40 mg per kg of body weight orally in 3 to 4 divided doses per day.

This medication is used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease). It is also effective for alleviating fever and pain caused by colds, back pain, dysmenorrhea, and postoperative pain. Additionally, it is widely used for various painful conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, headache, dental pain, muscle pain, neuralgia, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis, soft tissue injuries (sprains, strains), and non-articular rheumatic diseases (tendinitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis). This drug is effective for a range of inflammatory and painful conditions and helps improve patients' symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injuries, non-articular rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: Take 200 to 600 mg orally 3 to 4 times a day. The maximum daily dose can be up to 3200 mg. For mild to moderate pain and colds: Take 200 to 400 mg orally 3 to 4 times a day. Adjust dosage appropriately according to age and symptoms.

Child dose

Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis: Administer 30 to 40 mg per kg of body weight orally in 3 to 4 divided doses per day.

Precautions

This medication may pose a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding if taken regularly by individuals who consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily; it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist. People with or at risk for cardiovascular disease should be cautious as severe issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke may occur with long-term or high-dose use of this medication. This drug may cause severe gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, so elderly patients or those on long-term treatment should closely monitor for unusual symptoms. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, or severe liver, kidney, or heart dysfunction should not take this medication. Those with hypersensitivity to this medication or a history of allergic reactions to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid use. This medication should not be used in the late stages of pregnancy as it may affect the fetus, and nursing mothers may need to discontinue breastfeeding or stop taking the medication due to its effects. You should not exceed the recommended dosage or take this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for safety reasons. While taking this medication, regular monitoring of blood pressure, and liver and kidney function is necessary, and if any unusual signs occur, immediate consultation with a physician is advised. Especially those with a history of blood abnormalities, tendency to bleed, liver cirrhosis, kidney disorders, heart disease, or hypertension should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. This drug may interact with certain medications, so if you are taking ACE inhibitors, lithium, diuretics, methotrexate, anticoagulants, or SSRIs, consult your physician. If severe allergic reactions, skin rashes, difficulty breathing, or severe gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare provider. Long-term use of this medication may lead to anemia or abnormal liver function, so regular testing is required, and if unusual symptoms arise, discontinue use.
