Promotes osteoporosis and fracture healing, improves calcium and phosphorus supply for pregnant and lactating women
This medication helps to supply calcium and phosphorus to promote osteoporosis and fracture healing. It is also used to support the supply of calcium and phosphorus for women during pregnancy or breastfeeding to maintain health.
Osteoporosis: As an osopanf substance, take 1660-3320 mg twice a day. Other indications: As this medication, take 830-1660 mg once a day. Take before meals with a beverage.
This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (excessive calcium in the blood), sarcoidosis, or kidney disease. Patients with hypercalciuria (excessive calcium in urine) or kidney stones should also avoid using this medication. Individuals with allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to any component in this medication should refrain from taking it. This medication should not be used for infants under 12 months old, i.e., newborns or breastfed babies. Patients with severe renal failure should also not take this medication. During the time of using this medication, it is advisable not to take tetracycline antibiotics or drugs like phosphates, calcium salts, and antacids together, and if necessary, they should be taken at least 4 hours apart. This medication contains a pigment called Yellow No. 4 (Tartrazine), and caution should be taken if allergic or hypersensitive to this ingredient. While taking this medication, it is advisable to avoid teas rich in tannins such as green tea or black tea. Patients receiving treatment or those who are unable to move, including those with heart or circulatory disorders, kidney disorders, and hypoproteinemia, should consult a physician or pharmacist before using this medication. Additionally, individuals taking high doses of vitamin D or calcium, sodium fluoride, anti-aldosterone agents, triamterene, or thiazide diuretics should also consult a specialist before using this medication. If symptoms like constipation, low blood pressure, flushing, irregular heartbeat, nausea, vomiting, skin rash occur during the use of this medication, it is essential to stop taking it immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. Long-term use may lead to hypercalcemia or the formation of stones, so caution is needed. This medication must be used strictly according to the prescribed dosage and regimen, and especially for children, it should be administered under the supervision of a guardian. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 1 month, consult a professional immediately. Keep this medication out of reach of children, store it away from direct sunlight, and in a dry and cool place. It is also advisable not to transfer medication from its original container to another container and to store it securely in its original container.
