This medication is used to treat skin fungal infections caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton, including tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis. It is also effective for tinea versicolor caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare and skin candidiasis. In other words, it helps improve various skin conditions caused by fungal infections.

How to use

Adult use

Apply to the affected area 1 to 2 times daily. Tinea pedis: once daily for 1 week. Interdigital tinea pedis: twice daily for 1 week. Plantar tinea pedis: twice daily for 2 weeks. Tinea corporis, tinea cruris: 1 to 2 weeks. Skin candidiasis: 1 to 2 weeks. Tinea versicolor: 2 weeks.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by anyone who is allergic to it or has experienced hypersensitivity reactions to its components. It is also advisable for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as those who are breastfeeding, to avoid using this medication. This medication should not be used in children. If a rash occurs or an allergic reaction appears while using this medication, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, if there is excessive irritation of the skin or if symptoms worsen, it is essential to consult a specialist. If there are hives, redness, itching, irritation, contact dermatitis, peeling of the skin, scabs from wounds, pigmentation changes, or stabbing pain and burning sensation, use should be discontinued and consultation is necessary. This medication should be used under the direction of a physician and it is advisable not to use sealed bandages or packaging methods. If this medication is ineffective, tests should be conducted to confirm the presence of a fungal infection, and alternative treatments should be applied. If there is a candidal infection, avoid using acidic soap. This medication is minimally absorbed through intact skin, reducing the likelihood of systemic side effects, but caution should be exercised when applying it to wounds, large areas, or when used in infants due to the potential for systemic effects. If this medication is accidentally ingested, activated charcoal can be used to remove the active ingredient, and treatment for symptoms may be needed. This medication is for external use only and should not be applied to the eyes or mucous membranes. If it gets into the eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water, and caution is required as there may be risks of eye irritation or worsening of infection. Also, do not use it on nails, the scalp, around the mouth, or in the genital area. Animal testing has reported slight phototoxicity of this medication, so it is advisable to avoid direct sunlight. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, and store it in the original container, tightly closed. Care should be taken to avoid transferring it to another container as this may pose risks of misuse or deterioration in quality.
