This medication is used to relieve constipation and is also used to clean the bowel prior to surgical procedures, X-ray examinations, and endoscopic examinations.

How to use

Adult use

Adults: 1 bottle (118 mL) once a day

Child use

Children aged 3 and older: 1/2 bottle (59 mL) once a day

Precautions

This medication should not be used without a doctor's direction if you have kidney disease or are on a sodium-restricted diet. Children under the age of 3, patients with congenital megacolon or congestive heart failure, patients with severe kidney dysfunction, and those with gastrointestinal obstruction, bowel obstruction, perforation, or anal obstruction should not use this medication. Individuals allergic to this medication or any of its components should also not use it. Patients with weakened kidney function or those who have had a sudden change in bowel habits lasting more than two weeks must consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. It is important for pregnant or nursing women, children aged 3 to 12, the elderly, and individuals taking other medications to consult with a healthcare professional before using this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, lower abdominal pain, anal discomfort, rectal pain, rectal bleeding, or failure to defecate occur while using this medication, you must stop using it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If the enema solution remains in the body for more than 10 minutes or is not expelled, there may be an electrolyte imbalance and serious side effects may occur, so consult a professional immediately. In cases of overdose, issues such as hypocalcemia, hyperphosphatemia, hypernatremia, dehydration, and acidosis can occur, so blood levels of calcium, phosphate, sodium, etc. must be carefully monitored, and appropriate fluid replacement may be necessary. It is safe not to use this medication for more than one week without a doctor's direction. Keep out of reach of children, store in the original container, avoid direct sunlight, and keep in a cool, dry place. Additionally, medications should not be transferred to other containers as this is a measure to prevent misuse or deterioration of quality.
