Treatment of dermatophyte infections (athlete's foot, body ringworm, etc.), tinea versicolor, and candidiasis
This medication is effective for dermatophyte infections such as tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (groin ringworm), and tinea corporis (body ringworm) caused by dermatophytes. It is also used for infections caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare (or Malassezia furfur), the pathogen responsible for tinea versicolor. It helps in treating candidiasis and overall improves fungal diseases of the skin. This drug is used to treat a variety of skin fungal infections.
Apply to the affected area (site of disease) 1 to 2 times daily. Tinea pedis interdigital type (between toes): Apply 2 times daily for 1 week. Tinea pedis plantar type (sole): Apply 2 times daily for 2 weeks. Tinea corporis, tinea cruris: 1 to 2 weeks. Candidiasis: 1 to 2 weeks. Tinea versicolor: 2 weeks.
This product should not be used by those who are allergic to this drug or any of its ingredients or have experienced hypersensitivity. Additionally, it is safer for pregnant women, those who may become pregnant, and breastfeeding women to avoid using this medication. Children should also not use this drug. If an allergic reaction appears during use, such as rash, itching, redness, or hives, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. It is also important to consult with a specialist if skin irritation worsens, scabbing occurs at the site of injury, or there are any changes in pigmentation. This drug should not be applied using sealed dressings or wrapping techniques without a doctor's instruction, and if there is no effect, fungal testing should be carried out to identify other possible infectious agents. Avoid the use of acidic soaps if candida infection is suspected. Caution is necessary when applying this medication to open wounds, large areas of the skin, or to infants, as it may be absorbed into the body. If ingested by mistake, activated charcoal should be used to remove the active ingredient, and appropriate treatment should be sought if necessary. This medication is for topical use only and should be kept away from the eyes or ocular regions. If it comes into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly. It should not be applied to nails, scalp, around the mouth, or genital areas. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in its original container to prevent misuse and degradation of quality.
