How to take

Adult dose

For adults, take 1 to 1.5 packets (3.5 to 5.25g) twice a day on an empty stomach (before or between meals) in the morning and evening. For the first dose, take the minimum amount and gradually increase or decrease based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose, so it should not be used by patients who cannot break down or absorb lactose due to genetic reasons. Patients with acute abdominal conditions or intestinal obstruction, and children under 3 years old should not take this medicine. During the use of this drug, it is advisable not to take antacids or milk within 1 hour after ingestion. Individuals experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, those on other medications, those with allergies or family history of allergies, and those with a history of rectal bleeding or intestinal dysfunction should consult a specialist before taking this medicine. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur while taking this medicine, you should stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, or if constipation does not improve after about a week of use, you should stop taking it and discuss with a specialist. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and administration, and long-term continuous use may lead to drug tolerance and worsening constipation, so it should not be used continuously for more than a week. If daily laxatives are needed, the cause of the constipation must be identified. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place to avoid misuse and maintain quality.
