Treatment of dermatophyte infections (athlete's foot, tinea corporis, etc.) and candidiasis
This medication is used to treat skin fungal infections caused by various types of dermatophytes, such as athlete's foot, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis. It is also effective against infections caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare, such as tinea Versicolor and candidiasis. It helps improve various fungal infections on the skin and alleviates the patients' symptoms.
Apply to the affected area (disease area) once or twice a day. Athlete's foot interdigital type (between toes): 2 times a day for 1 week Athlete's foot plantar type (sole): 2 times a day for 2 weeks Athlete's foot common type: once a day for 1 week Tinea corporis, tinea cruris: 1 to 2 weeks Candidiasis: 1 to 2 weeks Tinea versicolor: apply for 2 weeks.
This medication is a cream used for treating skin infections. Individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients, or who have had hypersensitivity reactions, should not use it. Women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breastfeeding should also avoid using this medication. Children should not use this medication for safety reasons. If abnormal symptoms such as rash, itching, redness, or irritation occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, so individuals allergic to this ingredient should use it with caution. Do not use sealing bandages or packing methods without a doctor's direction, and if no therapeutic effect is observed, testing should be done to check for other causative organisms. If a Candida infection is present, it is advisable to avoid using acidic soaps. Extra caution is needed when applying it to areas with wounds or larger areas, and for infants, as systemic effects may occur. If this medication is accidentally swallowed, activated charcoal should be used to remove the active ingredient, and symptomatic treatment should be given as necessary. This medication is a topical agent applied only to the skin and should not be used on the eyes, nails, scalp, around the mouth, or vaginal area. Particularly, if it gets into the eyes, it can cause significant irritation, so immediately wash thoroughly with plenty of water, and caution should be taken as fungal infections may worsen rarely. Mild phototoxic reactions have been reported in animal tests, so it is advisable to avoid direct sunlight. Finally, keep out of reach of children and store in the original container, tightly closed to maintain the quality of the medication.
