Adult dose

Typically, an adult should take 5.0 grams three times a day before meals or between meals.

This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic conditions that prevent them from digesting lactose should not take it. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney disease, edema, those who have had allergic reactions to medications, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, the elderly, and those currently taking other medications must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as swelling of the face or extremities or elevated blood pressure occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, if symptoms of muscle weakness or cramps, skin rashes, or liver function abnormalities appear, discontinue use and seek counsel. If symptoms do not improve after about one month of use, consult a healthcare professional. This medication should not be taken for extended periods, and the dosage and method of administration must be strictly followed. Caution should be taken when taking other medications containing potassium or licorice as side effects may occur. When taking other herbal medicines, ensure that there is no overlap in ingredients. When storing, avoid direct sunlight and keep in a cool place with low humidity, out of reach of children. Also, do not transfer to another container from the original packaging, and it is important to store it tightly closed.

Serious side effects

Hives, severe swelling (edema), edema accompanied by elevated blood pressure, skin rashes/redness, itching, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme fatigue throughout the body, decreased urination, swelling of the face and extremities, symptoms of myopathy (weakness, extremity cramps, paralysis), headache
