Precautions

This medication should always be taken under the guidance of a healthcare professional when used to lower blood pressure. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney problems, edema, and elderly individuals must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking. It is important for those taking other medications, those with weak stomachs, or patients with loss of appetite, nausea, or vomiting to consult with a professional before use. If any abnormal symptoms such as swelling, increased blood pressure, or severe headaches occur during use, immediately stop taking the medication and consult a professional. If side effects such as muscle weakness, spasms, skin rashes, or digestive disturbances occur, also stop taking and consult a professional. When taking for long periods, it is important to follow a healthcare professional’s instructions and strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage. Caution is advised when taking medications containing potassium or certain diuretics together, as this increases the risk of side effects. While some effects have been reported for stroke-related symptoms such as motor dysfunction, facial paralysis, and speech impairment, there is not a consistent effect for all symptoms. Effectiveness for breathing difficulties has not been proven; hence, this symptom is not recommended for treatment. When taking with other herbal medications, it is necessary to check for overlapping ingredients. When storing, it should be kept away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place and out of reach of children. Medications should be stored in their original containers, tightly sealed, and transferring to other containers should be avoided.
