Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers (antacid effect), improvement of gastritis symptoms
This medication helps treat gastric and duodenal ulcers and alleviates symptoms of gastritis. It controls excessive gastric acid secretion, improving gastrointestinal symptoms such as heartburn, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. It also reduces belching, providing relief from gastric discomfort. This medication is used to improve various gastric diseases and symptoms.
As Almagate, take 1 g three times a day, chewing it orally 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. If necessary, an additional dose may be taken before bedtime.
Children over 12 years of age should follow the same dosage as adults.
This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients. Patients with Alzheimer's disease, those with hemorrhoids, individuals with body edema, patients with gestational hypertension, those experiencing diarrhea, and individuals with unexplained gastrointestinal bleeding should also avoid this medication. During the use of this medication, it should not be taken together with tetracycline antibiotics, as this may interfere with absorption of the antibiotic. Those taking other medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication, as it may affect the absorption or excretion of those drugs. Particularly, patients with impaired kidney function should be cautious as magnesium or aluminum can accumulate in the body, and it is not recommended for those with severe renal impairment. Individuals who are weak or have insufficient phosphorus intake should be cautious when taking this medication due to aluminum affecting phosphorus absorption, which may impact bone health during long-term use. Elderly patients, those with symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and nursing mothers should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If constipation or diarrhea occurs during treatment, or if symptoms do not improve in more than 2 weeks, discontinue use and consult a specialist immediately. Dosage should strictly follow prescription, and when administering to children, it should be done under adult supervision. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept tightly closed in its original container. It is also best stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

This medication should not be taken alongside tetracycline antibiotics. Consult a doctor or pharmacist when taken with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer medications, digitalis preparations, chlorpromazine, lansoprazole, prednisolone, penicillin, quinolones, iron preparations, and salicylates.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent air exposure and kept at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C. This will help maintain the medication's effectiveness.
