This medication is used for sudden pain related to gastrointestinal diseases and issues concerning the biliary and urinary tracts. It is also effective for dysfunction in the female reproductive system and spasmodic pain, such as dysmenorrhea. It helps alleviate these symptoms and reduce discomfort. Therefore, it is used for spasmodic pain in the gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, urinary tract, and female reproductive system.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1-2 tablets orally three times a day. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 6 tablets.

Precautions

This medication can cause liver damage in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day, so consult with a doctor or pharmacist beforehand. Patients with severe kidney dysfunction or certain enzyme deficiencies, glaucoma, prostate hypertrophy, pyloric stenosis, or paralytic ileus should not take this medication. Additionally, patients with hypersensitivity to this medication or a history of asthma triggered by this medication or other cold medications and analgesics should avoid use. Do not use with other products containing acetaminophen during treatment, as exceeding the daily maximum dose may lead to liver damage. Patients with liver dysfunction or Gilbert's syndrome or severe cardiac conditions should use this medication cautiously. Blood-related side effects, such as thrombocytopenia or leukopenia, may occur, and if hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash or difficulty breathing arise, discontinue the medication immediately. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite, as well as reports of dizziness, anxiety, and unusual sweating. Patients with a history of bronchial asthma or hypersensitivity should be cautious as bronchospasm may occur, and driving or operating hazardous machinery should be avoided. Taking this medication with alcohol, certain antidepressants, hypnotics, etc., may increase the risk of liver damage, so consult with a doctor before combining. Precautions should be taken during early pregnancy or breastfeeding, and it is not recommended for children. In case of overdose, liver and kidney damage may occur, so visit a hospital immediately for appropriate treatment.

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other products containing acetaminophen, barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol. Avoid combining it with warfarin, lithium, thiazide diuretics, tetracyclic antidepressants, antihistamines, antipsychotics, quinidine, amantadine, disopyramide and other anticholinergic medications, metoclopramide, β-agonists, propantheline, chloramphenicol, probenecid, zidovudine, cholestyramine.
