This medication is used for patients complaining of gastrointestinal symptoms such as watery diarrhea, vomiting, thirst, and decreased urine output. Major applicable diseases include acute gastroenteritis, abdominal pain, food stagnation or stomach stagnation, gastrointestinal disorders due to heat exposure (heat stroke), and abdominal cold sensitivity. It effectively acts on these symptoms and diseases to improve digestive function and alleviate symptoms, thereby being used to treat symptoms of indigestion and acute gastrointestinal diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 packet 3 times a day before meals or in between meals.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose, so it should not be taken by patients with genetic lactose intolerance. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney problems, individuals with edema, those who previously experienced skin rashes or itching due to medication, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, the elderly, and patients currently taking other medications should consult a specialist before taking this medicine. If symptoms such as decreased urine output, severe swelling of the face or hands and feet, heaviness of eyelids, stiffness of hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a specialist. Additionally, if muscle-related abnormal symptoms such as weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis appear, stop taking the medication and seek counsel. Discontinue use if abnormal reactions such as skin rashes, redness, or itching occur. If symptoms do not improve after one month, do not continue taking the medication and consult a specialist. It is essential to avoid prolonged use of this medication, and if long-term use is unavoidable, consult with a specialist. Adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage strictly, and caution is needed when taken with potassium-containing preparations, other medications containing licorice, or certain diuretics, as this may lead to hypokalemia or muscle-related abnormal symptoms. When taking with other herbal medicines, be careful to avoid ingredient overlap. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture, and keep out of reach of children. Transferring the medication from its original container to another container may risk misuse or quality degradation, so it must be stored in its original container with a tight seal.
