Patients with high blood pressure or issues related to the heart or kidneys, individuals with edema, and older adults should always consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Additionally, patients currently taking other medications or undergoing medical treatment, as well as children, should consult with an expert since safety has not been fully established in these populations. If symptoms such as reduced urine output, swelling in the face and limbs, heaviness of the eyelids, or increased blood pressure occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult with a professional. Dosage and administration guidelines must be followed precisely, and care should be taken when taking it with potassium-containing drugs, licorice-containing drugs, or certain diuretics, as this may increase the risk of side effects. The medication should be stored in a sealed container to protect it from air and moisture, kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and should be sealed after use and stored out of reach of children. Transferring the medication from its original container to another container poses risks of misuse or degradation in quality; therefore, it is safest to store it in its original container. Finally, some herbal ingredients included in this medication may potentially cause cancer, but they should only be used when the therapeutic benefit outweighs the risks, as determined by a healthcare provider.
