Treatment of allergic and inflammatory skin diseases (eczema, contact dermatitis, etc.) and first-degree burns.
This medication is used for the treatment of allergic or inflammatory skin diseases such as eczema, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, photodermatitis, chronic simple lichen, lichen planus, exfoliative dermatitis, itchiness, and psoriasis that are accompanied by secondary infections. It is also effective for treating first-degree burns. It alleviates skin inflammation and itchiness, helps in the recovery of damaged skin, and improves symptoms. It can be widely used for various skin diseases and damages.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.
This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections, as it may worsen symptoms. Do not use this medication if there is an allergy to this drug or its components, or if there is a previous history of such allergies. Patients with eczema in the external auditory canal with perforated eardrum should be cautious, as healing may be delayed with this medication. It is advisable not to use this medication if there are ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite on the skin as skin regeneration may be hindered. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea are also advised not to use this medication. Avoid using this medication if there is an allergy to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin. Those with an allergy to propylene glycol should use this medication with caution and consult a doctor. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and children or infants should consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. If symptoms of skin infection, irritation, itchiness, rash, or dry skin appear during the usage of this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and a healthcare professional should be consulted. Using this medication for a long time or over a large area may lead to side effects such as adrenal suppression, skin atrophy, and capillary dilation, so usage duration and area should be limited and caution should be taken. There is a risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma when used around the eyes, so caution is required, and if any vision disturbances occur, an ophthalmologist should be consulted immediately. When used for extended periods, it is necessary to check adrenal function status through blood tests. When using in children, a minimal dose should be used based on weight and body surface area, and it must be used under the supervision of a guardian. It is essential to adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage when using this medication, and it is advisable to discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve. Treatment methods such as occlusive dressings should not be used without medical supervision, especially noting the risk of infection, so the affected area should be kept clean. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in its original container to maintain quality.
