This medication is used for dry eye symptoms occurring due to insufficient tear or mucus secretion.
How to apply drops
Adult eye dose
Instill 1-2 drops according to the symptoms of eye irritation several times a day.
Precautions
This product should not be used by individuals with allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients. If you experience headaches, eye pain, changes in vision, a feeling of eye irritation, or persistent eye redness while using this medication, or if symptoms last more than 72 hours or worsen, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Using this medication may cause temporary blurriness, dryness in the eyes, abnormalities in the eyelids, or a foreign body sensation or discomfort in the eyes. Rarely, symptoms such as glare, eye itching, eye redness, eye pain, and increased tearing may occur. Contact lens wearers must remove their lenses before using this medication and can reinsert them at least 15 minutes after application. Since temporary blurriness may occur after instilling this medication, you should wait until your vision returns to normal before driving or operating machinery. During pregnancy, the components of this medication are not significantly absorbed systemically, making it unlikely to affect the fetus, so it can be used. While there are no special restrictions on using this medication while breastfeeding, information on whether its components are excreted in breast milk is limited. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been sufficiently verified in children, so it should be used with caution in pediatrics. Safety evaluations have not been conducted for patients with decreased liver or kidney function, so caution is necessary. No specific reports exist for overdose; however, if excess enters the eyes, it is advisable to rinse with clean water. This medication is intended for direct instillation into the eye, and care should be taken to ensure that the tip of the container does not come into contact with the eyelid or eyelashes. To prevent contamination or discoloration, do not use the medication if it has been contaminated or clouded. Do not share this medication with others to help prevent infection. When using this medication alongside other eye drops, a minimum interval of 5 minutes should be maintained, and ointments should be applied last. Once opened, the remaining solution and container should be discarded after one use. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, low-humidity place.
