Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, patients who have experienced severe allergic reactions to this drug or its components, patients with extremely low white blood cell counts, and women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid administration. Furthermore, patients with impaired bone marrow function, those with infections, patients with a tendency to bleed, patients with decreased renal function, children, and women of reproductive age should be particularly cautious when using this medication. This drug can cause various side effects such as bone marrow suppression, gastrointestinal problems, hepatic dysfunction, skin rashes, renal dysfunction, etc., so regular blood tests and evaluations of liver and kidney function should be conducted to monitor conditions closely. If severe blood disorders or serious infections or bleeding symptoms occur, drug administration should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment should be received. This medication should not be administered during live vaccine immunization as it may increase the risk of infection due to vaccination. In patients with diminished renal function, the excretion rate of the drug may decrease, raising the risk of side effects, thus dosage adjustments and careful monitoring of the condition are needed. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication, and breastfeeding should be discontinued for safety if breastfeeding. When using this medication in children, especially monitor for the occurrence of side effects and consider potential impacts on reproductive capacity. The elderly may have a higher likelihood of diminished renal function, so dosage should be adjusted and closely monitored. Prolonged use of this drug may increase the risk of malignant tumors, so the need for treatment and the associated risks should be carefully considered. Lastly, this medication should be taken out of the PTP packaging for administration and not swallowed while still in the packaging. It should also be stored in a place that avoids moisture and is out of reach of children.
