Adult dose

Typically, adults take 1 packet per dose (single dosage), 3 times a day before meals or in between meals.

Child dose

For ages 11-14 years, take 2/3 packet per dose (2/3 of adult dosage), for ages 8-10 years, take 1/2 packet per dose (1/2 of adult dosage), 3 times a day before meals or in between meals. Not for children under 7 years old.

This medication should not be taken by children under 7 years of age. Patients with hypertension or heart and kidney diseases must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Patients who are taking other medications or who experience diarrhea accompanied by fever or blood in the stool should also seek professional advice. If symptoms do not improve, do not continue taking the medication for more than a few days and consult with a professional.
