This medication is used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as muscle pain, neuralgia, pain occurring after trauma or surgery, headaches, toothaches, and earaches.
Dosage
Clonixin lysine salt is administered orally at a dose of 125 to 250 mg three times a day.
Precautions
If this medication is taken by someone who regularly drinks more than three glasses of alcohol daily, there is a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is necessary. This medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, so patients with heart or vascular problems or risk factors must be extra cautious and closely monitor for any cardiovascular symptoms during use. Serious side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations can occur, so caution is advised, especially for the elderly or patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. Patients with peptic ulcers, those who have gastrointestinal disturbances caused by medications, individuals allergic to this medication or its components, those who have had allergic reactions to aspirin, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and patients with severe liver, kidney, or heart diseases should not take this medication. Concurrent use with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, specific blood pressure medications (ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists), aspirin, diuretics, lithium, methotrexate, anticoagulants, immunosuppressants, antiplatelet agents, corticosteroids, etc. may increase the risk of side effects; therefore, it is essential to inform your doctor or pharmacist when taking this medication. Patients with a history of peptic ulcers, hypertension, heart failure, asthma, liver, or kidney dysfunction should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication, and special caution is needed for the elderly and children. During use, if you experience unusual symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, skin rash, blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, drowsiness, or headaches, you should stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. This medication should be used at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible, and regular blood tests and liver/kidney function tests are necessary for prolonged use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid taking this medication, and if breastfeeding, it is recommended to stop breastfeeding or discontinue the medication.

Interactions
Do not take this medication together with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor antagonists, aspirin, diuretics, lithium, methotrexate, coumarin anticoagulants (such as warfarin), cyclosporine and tacrolimus, antiplatelet agents, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), or corticosteroids. If taking misoprostol as a peptic ulcer treatment, consult with a doctor or pharmacist.
