This medication is used for the prevention and treatment of various anemias related to folic acid deficiency. It aims to supplement not only the treatment of folic acid deficiency but also in cases of increased folic acid demand, such as in wasting diseases, pregnancy, and breastfeeding, where diet alone is insufficient. Additionally, it is effective for nutritional deficiency anemia, pregnancy-related anemia, pediatric anemia, and anemia caused by anticonvulsant use. It is also used to treat megaloblastic anemia associated with alcohol addiction and liver disease. It helps improve various types of anemia and states of folic acid deficiency.

How to take

Adult dose

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this drug or any of its ingredients. Also, patients with certain anemias caused by vitamin B12 deficiency or those with genetic diseases affecting lactase should not use it.
