Improvement of gastroesophageal reflux and gastrointestinal dysfunction (abdominal pain, indigestion, etc.)
This medication is effective in improving gastrointestinal issues caused by gastroesophageal reflux and hiatal hernia, as well as abdominal pain, indigestion, nausea, and vomiting symptoms occurring from gastritis and duodenitis or ulcers. It also helps relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and colonic spasms. In children, it is used to treat habitual vomiting or constipation and diarrhea caused by non-infectious intestinal pain and disorders. Overall, this medication improves symptoms of various gastrointestinal diseases.
As Trimebutine Maleate, take 100-200mg orally three times a day before meals. Adjust dosage appropriately according to age and symptoms.
This medication contains lactose, so it should not be used in patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. While taking this medication, occasional gastrointestinal side effects such as constipation, diarrhea, borborygmi (the sound of gas in the intestines), nausea, vomiting, indigestion, dry mouth, and a sense of mouth numbness may occur. Additionally, symptoms of palpitations may rarely occur. In the nervous system, symptoms such as fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, lethargy, and headache may rarely appear, so caution is advised. This medication may affect liver function, with a possibility of elevated liver enzyme levels, so particular care should be taken if there are pre-existing liver health issues. If symptoms of hypersensitivity such as skin rashes occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use this medication only when the benefits of treatment are deemed to outweigh the risks, as its safety is not firmly established. Lactating women should also avoid this medication, and if it must be taken, it is advisable to stop breastfeeding.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container or airtight package to prevent exposure to air or moisture. It is important to maintain storage temperatures between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius to preserve the efficacy of the medication and prevent degradation.
