Precautions

This drug should not be used in patients with specific eye conditions. For example, it should not be administered in cases of viral keratitis, fungal infections of the eye, or corneal damage. Additionally, it should be avoided in newborns and in patients allergic to any of its components. Special caution should be exercised when using this drug in patients with glaucoma, as side effects such as increased intraocular pressure or optic nerve damage may occur, necessitating regular examinations. In particular, in pediatric patients, the risk of increased intraocular pressure due to steroids is higher, requiring careful monitoring. Long-term use of this drug may delay corneal healing or worsen infections, so it is important to consult healthcare professionals immediately if symptoms do not improve. Furthermore, contact lens wear should be avoided during the use of this drug, and if necessary, the lenses should be removed before administering the medication and reinserted after some time. Allergic reactions to the ingredients of this drug can occur; therefore, if symptoms such as rash, itching, or swelling develop, use should be stopped immediately and healthcare professionals should be notified. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should consult a doctor before using this drug, as prolonged use during pregnancy may affect the fetus, requiring caution. The use of this drug while breastfeeding is also not recommended. This medication is for ophthalmic use only, and care should be taken to prevent the tip of the container from coming into direct contact with the eye. When using multiple eye drops, it is advisable to allow a 15-minute interval between administering them. After administering the drug, close your eyes and occlude the nasolacrimal duct to minimize systemic absorption and reduce side effects. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children and kept away from direct sunlight in a cool place. Additionally, it should not be transferred to other containers to maintain the quality of the medication.
