This medication is used to treat fungal infections occurring on the skin, particularly various tinea such as athlete's foot, jock itch, tinea corporis, and tinea versicolor.

How to apply

Adult use

Apply once daily to the affected area.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to its ingredients. Careful use is required in patients sensitive to allylamine antifungals due to possible cross-reactivity. Skin irritation, redness, itching, contact dermatitis, blisters, and rarely, wounds or skin cracking may occur during use. If these symptoms appear, use should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment should be sought. Before applying, clean and dry the affected area completely, and wash hands thoroughly after use. Avoid contact with mucous membranes such as eyes, nose, and mouth, and do not use on severely wounded areas. This medication is for external use only and should not be sealed with a bandage or wrapping without a doctor's direction. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication if the benefits of treatment are deemed greater than the risks. Nursing mothers should also exercise caution as the drug may be transmitted through breast milk. Safety and efficacy have not been established for use in premature infants, neonates, and children under 12 years of age; caution should be exercised in such cases. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
