Improvement of psoriasis symptoms (mild to moderate)
This medication is used to treat psoriasis classified as mild to moderate.
Apply to the affected area once or twice a day (morning, evening). For maximum effect, it should be used twice a day. Do not exceed 100g per week (approximately 15g a day). When using other medications containing calcipotriene, the total weekly dose of all calcipotriene-containing products, including this medication, should not exceed 5mg of calcipotriene.
This medication should not be used in certain patients. Patients who have had an allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to this medication or its ingredients should not use it. Additionally, patients with hypercalcemia or problems with calcium metabolism should avoid this medication. It should not be administered to patients with vitamin D toxicity. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, so patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should use it with caution. During use, side effects such as itching, irritation, or redness on the skin may occur frequently. Rarely, systemic side effects like hypercalcemia and hypercalciuria may also occur, so be careful not to use it excessively. This medication can irritate the skin, so extra caution should be taken when applying it to damaged skin or skin folds. It should also not be used on the face, and use over extensive areas may increase the risk of side effects from systemic absorption. It is important to regularly check serum calcium levels and kidney function while using this medication. If any abnormal signs are detected, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should carefully consider the benefits and risks of using this medication. Nursing mothers should not apply this medication to the breast and should be mindful of its effects on the infant. Safety in pediatric patients has not been established, so it is advisable not to use it in young children. Excessive use may result in elevated serum calcium levels, causing symptoms such as polyuria, constipation, muscle weakness, and confusion, so the recommended dosage must be strictly followed. This medication does not significantly affect driving or machine operating abilities. When using, apply only to the affected area, take care to avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes, and wash hands thoroughly after use. It is also advisable to avoid showering or bathing immediately after use. This medication is flammable, so do not store it near heat sources, and keep it out of the reach of children. It is preferable to use it within 6 months after opening.

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent air and moisture from entering, and it is best to keep it at room temperature between 1 degree and 25 degrees Celsius. Doing so helps maintain the effectiveness of the medication for a longer period.
