Adult eye dose

Instill 1-2 drops 4 times a day. Discard any remaining liquid and the container immediately after use (for single-use eye drops).

This medication is an eye drop solution and should not be used by certain patients. First, patients who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or patients with closed-angle glaucoma who experience a rapid increase in intraocular pressure should not use it. Additionally, there are patients who need caution when using this medication. Patients taking MAO inhibitors should be careful as this medication can severely raise blood pressure when used together. Care should also be taken for young children, as they may experience central nervous system depression leading to coma and significant drops in body temperature. Patients with severe heart disease or those with hypertension that is difficult to control should exercise caution when using this medication. Patients with diabetes who are at risk of ketoacidosis should also be careful. Using this medication may cause pupil dilation or an increase in eye pressure, and systemic side effects may include elevated blood pressure, heart rhythm disturbances, and increased blood sugar levels. If there is eye pain, vision changes, persistent redness, or irritation, or if symptoms do not improve after three days, use should be discontinued immediately and a consultation with a specialist should be sought. This medication should be used only in the eyes, and care must be taken to prevent the tip of the container from directly contacting the eye. Avoid co-administration with other medications, and single-use eye drops should be used immediately after opening, with any remaining liquid and the container discarded. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly closed. It is also important not to transfer to another container to maintain quality.

This medication may be sensitive to air or light, so it should be stored in a sealed container in a place where light cannot enter. It is best to maintain a storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius.
