Efficacy & effects
This medication is effective in relieving fever and pain caused by a cold, headaches, neuralgia, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and pain in sprained areas. It is also used to alleviate toothache, joint pain, and rheumatic pain, improving various types of pain.
Dosage
Adults: As acetaminophen, take 0.3-1.0g orally 3-4 times a day. The maximum dosage per day can reach 4g. Dosage may be adjusted based on age, condition, and symptoms.
Precautions
This medication may cause liver damage in individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks of alcohol daily, so it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. During treatment, severe skin reactions such as rashes, itching, or blisters may occur, and if these symptoms arise, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication contains acetaminophen, and caution should be taken to not exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. Individuals with hypersensitivity, peptic ulcers, serious blood disorders, liver impairment, kidney impairment, or reduced cardiac function should avoid taking this medication. Those with aspirin-induced asthma, or who are taking barbiturates or tricyclic antidepressants should also not take this medication. Individuals with liver or kidney impairment, peptic ulcers, blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, cardiac function abnormalities, hypersensitivity, bronchial asthma, the elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding women, long-term users of warfarin, and those on specific medications must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Should sudden allergic reactions or symptoms such as difficulty breathing, skin rash, nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal bleeding occur while taking this medication, use should be discontinued immediately and medical advice sought. For long-term use, regular blood tests and liver function tests are required, and dosage should be reduced or discontinued if abnormalities are detected. Pediatric and elderly patients should take the minimum effective dose and be monitored for adverse reactions, and concurrent use with other anti-inflammatory painkillers should be avoided. If pain persists for more than 10 days or fever lasts for more than 3 days, a consultation with a professional is necessary. In the case of overdose, even if no symptoms are present, immediate medical attention is required for liver protective treatment. Interactions
Do not take this medication with other anti-inflammatory (anti-inflammatory) painkillers, other products containing acetaminophen, barbiturates, or tricyclic antidepressants. Patients on warfarin, lithium, or thiazide diuretics should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.
