This medication is effective for various joint diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis when taken orally. It also helps relieve fever and pain caused by colds, back pain, dysmenorrhea, and postoperative pain. Additionally, it is used for various painful conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, headache, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia, acute gout, as well as rheumatic diseases not involving joints like psoriatic arthritis, soft tissue injuries such as sprains and strains, and tendinitis, tenosynovitis, and bursitis. In rectal form, it is used for fever due to acute upper respiratory tract infection in children. In summary, this medication is widely used for various joint and musculoskeletal disorders and for relief of pain and fever.

Pregnant women in the late stages of pregnancy or individuals with certain blood disorders or a history of asthma should also avoid this medication.
