This medication is used to relieve constipation and also improves symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids caused by constipation. It is effective in reducing discomfort from constipation and aiding digestion.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: 2 to 3 tablets per dose. Take once daily at bedtime on an empty stomach. For the first dose, take the minimum amount and gradually adjust the dosage based on the form and condition of the stool.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15: 1 to 2 tablets per dose. Take once daily at bedtime on an empty stomach. For the first dose, take the minimum amount and gradually adjust the dosage based on the form and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or intestinal obstruction, and children under the age of 7. Additionally, patients with genetic conditions that prevent lactose breakdown should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour of consuming antacids or milk. Patients experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, pregnant women or those who could become pregnant, individuals taking other medications, and those on a sodium-restricted diet must consult a physician or pharmacist before use.
