Dosage
1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: Administer naproxen orally at a dose of 250-500 mg twice daily (every 12 hours). The dose may be increased up to a maximum of 1,500 mg per day if necessary. 2. This medication may pose a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume three or more drinks daily, so it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including this medication, may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases and severe issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke; therefore, patients with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors need to be especially cautious. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, so elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal disease should be closely monitored for symptoms while taking it. Patients with a history of peptic ulcers, severe hematological abnormalities, liver or kidney dysfunction, severe hypertension, or hypersensitivity to aspirin or any components of this drug should not take it, and it is not used for pain management before and after coronary artery bypass surgery. Patients with a history of peptic ulcer disease, bleeding tendency, liver or kidney dysfunction, hypertension, asthma, autoimmune diseases, and the elderly should take this medication cautiously, and they should immediately consult healthcare professionals in case of adverse reactions. This medication may cause various side effects, such as allergic reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, blood abnormalities, liver and kidney dysfunction, skin rashes, and central nervous system abnormalities, so it is important to pay attention to any changes in symptoms during use.
