Auxiliary treatment for wounds and skin ulcers and improvement of venous disease symptoms.
This medicine is used as an adjunct treatment for wounds and skin ulcers. Ointments and creams help with localized treatment of wounds and skin ulcers, while patches are used as an adjunct in the early stage of wounds, skin ulcers, or scabs. The powder form also has auxiliary therapeutic effects for wounds and skin ulcers. Additionally, the tablet form helps alleviate symptoms caused by venous and lymphatic insufficiency in the legs, such as heaviness, pain, and discomfort in the legs. This medicine improves various conditions of wounds, skin, and venous disease symptoms through different formulations.
(Ointment)(Cream) Apply to the affected area 1 to 2 times a day. Do not exceed the recommended dose. (Patch) Clean and disinfect the affected area before applying daily. (Powder) Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 2 times a day. (Tablet) Initial dose: take 2 tablets 3 times a day; maintenance dose: take 1 tablet 3 times a day with meals.
(Tablet) For children over 30 months, take 1 to 3 tablets per day.
This medicine should not be used by anyone who has experienced an allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to this medicine or its components. Do not use this medicine if a secondary infection has occurred at the wound, as this may worsen the infection. Particularly, this medicine is not intended for use in the eyes and should not be used for ophthalmic purposes. The cream and ointment forms of this medicine contain ingredients lanolin and p-hydroxybenzoic acid; individuals allergic to these substances should not use it. If symptoms such as burning, itching, or dermatitis like eczema occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional. The powdered form should also be stopped immediately if pain, red spots, dermatitis, or allergic skin reactions appear, and a specialist should be consulted. Individuals with hypersensitivity should not take the tablet form. Especially for breastfeeding women, since the drug may be transmitted through breast milk, it is advisable to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Rarely, side effects such as vomiting or appetite loss may occur, so if these symptoms manifest, use should be discontinued immediately and a healthcare professional consulted.
