Precautions
This medication should not be used by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, nor by nursing mothers. Additionally, it should not be administered to patients with an allergy to this medication, children, patients with severe kidney dysfunction or lung dysfunction, or patients with circulatory disorders. It is also safer not to use on sensitive areas such as around the eyes or mucous membranes. Using this medication may cause allergic reactions such as burning sensation, redness, itching, hives, and swelling on the skin. In rare cases, skin peeling or erosion may occur, so if such symptoms appear, the frequency of use should be reduced and the condition monitored. Also, there may be a change in taste perception, so caution is needed. The prescribed dosage and method of use must be strictly followed, and it is advisable not to use on areas with wounds when treating warts under the fingernails or toenails. After use, care should be taken to avoid excessive sun exposure. This medication may interact when used with drugs like methotrexate or sulfonylurea, so if taking these medications, consultation with a healthcare provider is recommended. Additionally, it may increase the absorption of other topical medications and pose a risk of peripheral nerve damage when used with serrated drugs. Pregnant or nursing women should not use this medication, and if nursing, it is safest to stop breastfeeding. This medication is for external use only and should not be taken orally. Do not use on large areas, and the maximum area of application should be limited to less than 25 cm². Care should be taken to ensure that the medication does not contact normal skin, and protect adjacent areas with ointment or cream if necessary. Treatment should be continued daily, and even if symptoms improve, use should be maintained for an additional 7 days. For warts with thickened skin, it is helpful to treat them with a salicylic acid patch beforehand. Keep this medication out of the reach of children, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and do not transfer the medication to other containers. After use, be sure to tightly close the cap to prevent evaporation.
