Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as the rhubarb ingredient may induce uterine contractions or congestion in pelvic organs, increasing the risk of miscarriage or preterm birth. Breastfeeding women should also avoid this medication, as some of the rhubarb ingredients may be transmitted through breast milk and cause diarrhea in infants. Additionally, individuals with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should not take this medication, since it contains lactose, which may pose issues for such individuals. During the use of this medication, it should not be combined with other medications that induce diarrhea, as this may exacerbate side effects. Individuals experiencing diarrhea or loose stools should consult a specialist before using this medication, as it may worsen their symptoms. People with weak stomachs or those without appetite who are experiencing nausea or vomiting should also consult a specialist before taking this medication, as it may intensify their symptoms. Individuals who are physically weak, frail, currently taking other medications, elderly, and children should definitely consult a specialist before taking this medication, as its safety in children has not been sufficiently confirmed. If gastrointestinal symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea occur during use, or if there are systemic symptoms of lethargy or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), usage should be ceased immediately, and consultation with a specialist is necessary. If symptoms do not improve after one week of use, the medication should be stopped and advice from a specialist should be sought. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and method. The efficacy of the rhubarb ingredient varies greatly among individuals, and an overdose can lead to side effects. Stimulant laxatives may cause tolerance to develop with long-term use, and constipation may actually worsen. Therefore, continuous use should not exceed one week. If constipation persists, the underlying cause should be identified and treated. When taking this medication along with other herbal remedies, care must be taken to avoid overlap with the same herbal components, especially being cautious not to take products containing rhubarb simultaneously. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. After use, it must be tightly sealed and kept out of reach of children. Furthermore, transferring the medication from its original container to another may lead to misuse or degradation of quality, so it should always be stored tightly closed in its original container.
